To be eligible for financial assistance from the Queensland Department of Education and Training, applicants must be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, a permanent resident of Queensland and not currently hold a Certificate III or higher qualification. Furthermore, they must be over 15 years of age and cannot be attending secondary school.
