HLTAID011 PROVIDE FIRST AID
ACCREDITED PROGRAM
At Blue Stone Medical and Professional, we offer a range of CPR courses and first aid courses in Rockhampton, Yatala, Cairns and Gladstone, which include HLTAID011 Provide First Aid and HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation. We grade each student who takes our first aid and CPR course on their skills in performing first aid and CPR procedures, this is assessed through demonstration and questioning to confirm essential knowledge.
Our first aid class takes place throughout the year. We take pride in helping make our community safer by teaching Queenslanders the correct first aid knowledge, technique and procedures. We aim to promote a positive learning environment, in which each client feels comfortable participating fully. We understand that each individual learns at a different pace, our first aid and CPR trainers are patient and willing to assist in the learning process during the course to help ensure successful completion is achieved.

ABOUT THE COURSE
We offer an extensive first aid course for employees and others who might be required or strongly encouraged to take the course. Our course curriculum covers first aid response, life support, management of casualties and other initial tasks before medical assistance arrives.
OUR TRAINERS
Each first aid course is led by an accredited trainer who has experience teaching CPR and first aid. Each trainer promotes a healthy and productive learning environment, encouraging each student to ask questions and seek assistance to ensure he or she gains a full understanding of the first aid curriculum.
ESSENTIAL OUTCOMES
The desired outcome for each student includes being able to assess the situation, apply first aid procedures, understand and use infection control procedures, communicate details of the incident and evaluate their performance.

COURSE FEES
The course fee for the first aid course is $150 for each student. For CPR training, the total course fee is $90. To enrol in a First Aid / CPR course, call us to request your pre-workbook to complete and bring to class for marking by our accredited trainer.
ELIGIBILITY
First aid and CPR training are often required for employees of specific companies, particularly those within the health and medical field. Our first aid course extends to anyone who is interested however, whether it is required, strongly encouraged, or something you feel is a skill worth learning for any reason whatsoever.
